So i was told by a friend its possible to astral project to a person and only allow them to see you is this actually possible? I thought there was a limit to the distance you can project yourself.

I read in a book by Joe McMoneagle (StarGate) that psychic Ingo Swann, who designed some of the Army/CIA's psi protocols, projected to Jupiter without knowledge of the assigned target, and observed the rings around it before NASA had photos. That ought to be far enough for most of us

I'm not sure if your question is making a connection between the astral form being seen and distance.

It is possible for someone projecting to be seen. Only to one person and not others, not from "Star Gate" experience. They did find that you could be seen against your will. Theoretically, It happens because the viewer can see coherent Energy Patterns. To stay unseen both parties could get together on the Astral.

If you project into the astral, then a skilled or natural psychic may be able to sense you in the astral. It is more common to see entities and others who are on the ethereal plane, which is between the physical and astral.

I know that the living person's "spirit-body" form can be seen and recognized. I don't know what it takes to appear to a designated person within a group...maybe forming a link by holding their tag-lock? Since lots of people see ghosts that others cannot see, then at least in theory, if a ghost can be seen only by the person they contact, or only by a "sensitive" and not by others who are also present, why not the same option for astral bodies?
