My Trinidad Scorpion Butch t chilli plant

Some weeks ago I bought a Trinidad Scorpion Butch t in a small pot and transplanted it
in a big pot with more soil.

I've got some pods progressing towards becoming red (One of the pods is almost orange).

I read that Trinidad Scorpion Butch t is 1.5 Million scoville units heat which is very hot.

I had a penguin chili bush for a few years ..it just croaked last year. It was a 60,ooo to 100,000 units on the scoville. Never could eat it, barely touched the tip of my tongue to it, and i thought I was going to die. My husband eats them though.
Beautiful plant you have though, do you plan to put it in the ground?

I wanted to grow a Carolina Reaper plant inside, but my wife didn't feel like that would be best for our daughter.

I planted it outside, and it's been producing. Thinking about getting some kind of cover to keep it from freezing out there.

One big positive is that insects do not bother the reaper plant.

ouch! That must be one hot plant! You can make a tea out of some hot peppers to repel insects/bugs on plants. Oh, and they are used in hot foot powder to repel ...uh, pests.

I've been experimenting with the peppers. I've blended them to mix in with chili, but when I do, I'm the only one in our house that can eat it.

I've also made an extract of the peppers, which became useful to keep animals away from the outside trash, which had been scattered by stray animals. I sprayed it on the trash can lid, and it hasn't been bothered since.
