For you younger folk, this song was originally in protest to the Vietnam war draft and some true life woven in, but has become an annual song that for me really rings in the holiday and it just isn't Thanksgiving without having listened to it at least once.
It's a ballad, so a very long song, but stick with it, you're watching music history!

We had our feast yesterday, so today can be filled with Football and Twilight Zone and leftovers! YEA
