Shapeshifting?
The thing on "den of the firebird" says you do shapeshifting is that physically or spiritually or metaphorically?
The ability to question our way of thinking is what shows our intelligence.

For me shapeshifting is rearranging energy in the brain to make it feel as though one has embodied the animal or entity they wish to address.
So while some use it in a metaphorical way, it is the essence of metaphysics and a deep spiritual practice for anyone on a shamanistic type path.
If you do it real well sometimes others will say aspects of said animal may appear upon the façade of shapeshifter, but that is rare.

Shapeshifters know other people as parts of themselves, and that is how the shift is made. On an unconscious level, the same truth is the same way. It is like "eating" the energy of people, except a shapeshifter will learn how to act like it instead. Michael Jackson is a prime example: He understood your truth as though you were the same moment.
It is an ability not a fallacy.
