Yeah! Water in So. Cal...woo hoo! We were coming back from Lughnasadh ritual, (where we did indeed pray for rain, sorry no details) and on the way home in this stretch of Mulholland Hwy it started...RAIN !!!!!,
We stopped and danced around on the side of the road to the joy of the water falling out of the sky. Success !!
And oh my gosh did it feel nice, because the humidity has been pretty harsh. Course it twer brief, then but it has just started raining again, it's about 11:30 pm
What a blessed Lughnasadh.
Yeah yeah...I do the dance of joy

Everytime I do rain ritual it'll rain but not to much. It will be several small drops, or I have to wait till hours later to get a "true" rain. It never rains at the time I want it to.
And remember, when you call rain, there is somewhere that has a drought. Yet I often call rain

Isn't raw rain so refreshing to just stand underneath? We had an amazing rain storm the other day, but unfortunately I was working and couldn't go outside to enjoy it. Though, I'm sure it won't be long til our next one. :wink2:

Aww, these pictures are just so perfect! I love rain, but it rarely rain in the place I lived. When it does rain, I feel so connected to the earth.

Weirdly (perhaps not so weirdly now I attach to it in a holistic psychological way) I am better at keeping away rain.
I don't dabble with the winds... things are always delayed, yet when they come they are far too strong.

Corbin same here! I've a sincere request to learn about wind controlling, getting along with winds by magic and lore.
Re: water falls from the sky!
LoL, Corbin! I too have experienced keeping rain at bay easier than bringing it down. I wonder why that is...At least on a few occasions we were able to keep it from coming down until we were done with ritual and one time it rained all around us while within the circle (which was the top of a hill) it was barely misting. That was super nice.
Wind I can sometime slow down by degrees for a moment or two, but never have I tried to stir it up.
