Hello, I feel and think that it might be wise to learn about the Phoenician lore.
I think Firebird also mentioned it to be of a very important impact.
Do you have any deep, pragmatical lore on Phoenicians?
Thank you
Blessed be.

Re: Phoenician culture
Most of what is written is by their enemies and your best bet is to look for Greek sources.
I am the Earth, The Sun and the Stars
And I am the also the Moon
I am all animal and birds,
And I am the outcast as well, and the thief
I am the low person of dreadful deeds,
And the great person of excellent deeds
I am Female. I am Male and I am Neuter. - Devi
And I am the also the Moon
I am all animal and birds,
And I am the outcast as well, and the thief
I am the low person of dreadful deeds,
And the great person of excellent deeds
I am Female. I am Male and I am Neuter. - Devi

Re: Phoenician culture
Or at least some lingo. The Phoenicians were originally Canaanites. (Israelites were likewise originally Canaanite.) So learning Hebrew which is directly connected to Canaanite would help and I think some Judaic practices are descendants of Canaanite stuff. (Specifically Jewish mysticism. )
My advice would be to start with Hebrew-Canaan, and then go to Phoenicians and Carthaginians. (A Phoenician colony in North Africa. For Carthaginians, you have to look in Roman sources and some Roman citizens were even Carthaginian. )
A good starting place is "The Hebrew goddess " 3rd edition by Patai. Canaanites, Phoenicians, and Carthaginians all have the same gods.
