Spells for Samhain

Hello all, I was thinking about casting a circle and performing a spell to open my third eye on Samhain. Does anyone have any recommendations on a good spell for this ? Also, is it dangerous to cast on Samhain? I feel that the spell would be more powerful that day but I am nervous it would be too dangerous with the vail being so thin I don't want to invite anything unwanted.

So I don’t mean to be rude on your thread, but technically, Samhain and other ‘significant’ days are more in line with Ritual and Ceremonies than spells

The energy during these times is higher, and although a spell will work out, a ritual usually has a longer lasting effect.

That's not rude, I'm learning so I appreciate the feedback. Is there a certain ritual I can do on Samhain that can help to open the third eye that you know of? Does it seam like a bad idea? Thanks

It’s certainly not a bad idea, however ‘growth’ or ‘opening’ rituals are usually reserved for spring and summer dates.

If you’re looking to open your third eye during this time of year, I think something in line with ‘resolution of sight’ might work. Clearing away what’s in front of you so you can see better in the future sort of thing
