October 31
As we approach Halloween/Samhain, I want to state how the time around that time of year tends to be a time of endings and new beginnings in my life and I have heard others in pagan circles say the same is true for them in general. Sometimes these changes are for the better, sometimes for the worse, sometimes they initially appear for the better and turn out for the worse or Vice versa. Any how, I am being observant about it right now and getting in the state of mind for the most likely scenario.
Re: October 31
I always have a sense of loss but a hopeful attitude going into Samhain. At least I have this time of year to reflect and grieve, if need be, and lately the grief has been pretty monumental on all kinds of levels. Just thinking of it as a threshold we all must pass through gives me a great deal of comfort, yet a place of remembering that which was and is has come to pass.
