Can't change password?

I'm very sorry if I post this in the wrong place but my sister is having issues and she can't use her account to get help I, So I am posting this for her.
Here is what she says
"Dear folks at everything under the moon fourm: I made an account under the username GirlUnderTheTree. I forgot my password and could not access the account. I used the forgot password link and typed my email and username. The page told me a temporary password would be sent but I never got the email. I retried multiple times through a few days. Finally I decided to email the board administer but received no reply. Its been almost two weeks and I'm wondering if maybe the email didn't reach them. I would like to make a new account but it specifically states in the rules that we aren't allowed more then one. Besides I really liked my new username. Anyways I'm hoping that maybe someone can help me out. Thank you and blessed be."
Note: I would like to add that I do not want the password or anything to that account, My sister simply can't post without an account and I figured that maybe someone can help her out. Thanks!

I got a new password sent to me but how can I change it myself to something I can remember?

Once you have logged in, go to User Control Panel. From there, go to Edit Profile, then to Edit Account Settings. That should pull up a screen where you can change your password.
