Merry Met Everyone!
I was able to convince my parents to let me cook a special dinner for Mabon! (Well, more like convince my mom, my dad was just "sure." XD) So... I've never planned a Mabon feast before so I was wondering if any of you have recommendations about the type of food I could make or a rough menu as a guide?
Thank you!

I suggest looking at what's being harvested locally, and trying to include some of those sorts of things, it's a good way to connect to and honor the land you live on. Apples are in season where I live, and my meal ends up including a lot of them because I tend to pick too many. :p For me a typical Mabon meal might be something like roasted chicken or ham steaks (often with an apple cider glaze), a sweet potato and apple casserole, a garden salad (since the last of the tomatoes and cucumbers are coming in), some fresh corn, maybe some cranberry sauce, grapes and cheese, and biscuits with apple butter. Dessert might be something like apple and cranberry pie, or baked apples, or just something like a coffee cake.

How about Pumpkin Spice Krispie Treats? They sound pretty yummy to me.

I'm making a chilli with some homemade bread... I've never made bread before, so we will see how it goes. I think that meals like pot pies, shepard's pie, chilli, etc are the easiest add in seasonal veggies. Plus they are hearty and easy to make.
An apple dessert that is pretty easy and awesome to make is a lazy apple cobbler. things you'll need:
4 large roughly chopped apples.
a stick and a half of butter
yellow cake mix or spiced cake mix
Just preheat the over to 350, dumb the apples in a baking dish, sprinkle all of the cake mix on top, then drop little butter squares all over the top. throw it in the oven and bake it until the apples are tender.
So stinking easy, I do this all the time when an unexpected or last minute dinner or potluck comes up.

@Smogie: Sure thing!
I've finalized my menu. I'll be having:
-Dark Mother bread with apple butter and honey poppyseed butter
-A simple chopped salad with nuts
-Roasted Butternut Squash soup
-Pot roast with vegetables
-Dark chocolate and pomegranate tart
Sadly, none in my family liked mulled cider so instead there will be some wine and juice.
