HardOccult- the first new-member intro in 9 months

First, I want to thank Firebird (presumably), for quickly approving my account
after a mere thousand years or so, which is faster than the other admins.

I am a relatively old man, in my 50s, and a former member of a wiccan coven,
but that was many years ago. So, I am very familiar with Wicca, even though
I am not a wiccan now.

My username- HardOccult, refers to the distinction between the soft occult and
the hard occult, and the fact that I am of the latter. This forum is more oriented
toward the soft occult, and I am one of the more rational-minded individuals of the
hard occult, so, there are various categories of things here which I do not believe in,
but, I'm not here to argue that things that people believe in are not real.
I do generally believe in magic, but, in my extensive experience, including watching other
people's experiences, most magic is a relatively remote thing that is not easily obtained,
such that it takes more than mere meditation, grounding-and-centering, focus, and intent.
Some years ago, a met a teacher, who increased my knowledge greatly,
beyond what I had already read in books.

I am a relatively computer-savvy and government-savvy person, and, as such,
I typically only read internet forums, and avoid registering thereon,
ever since the NSA commandeered the forum-software companies
and organizations by demanding that they insert hacking code into
the registration pages and file-uploading functions therein. After that time,
the NSA has been harassing the older, pre-hacking forums with spam-bots.
I noticed that this forum is of a rare old benign/pre-hacking type,
and consequently gets attacked by the NSA's spam-bots, so I'll make an
exception for this forum.

For that reason, it is essential that this forum not be shut-down, as that
woud only tighten the deep-state's noose around the necks of the people.
I read in a post somewhere that Starwitch now perceives this forum as
burdensome, and is considering shutting it down. Firebird- you are the
person who is keeping this forum alive, so I propose that Starwitch
transfer ownership of this forum to you.

...we have had our share of spam bots trying to squeeze in, when they get to be too burdensome, Starwitch does twitch her nose of something and makes it all better
It's funny that you mention transfer, not sure altogether if Satrwitch still gets revenue from the main page, it may be just the forum she can't deal with anymore, but ya, it's a rare place and I also believe it deserves preservation!
