Is visualization usually this difficult?

I've been trying visualization meditations to do things like quantum jumping and meeting my spirit guides. I've struggled with this and it seems to be getting better for me, but is it normal to not actually see things when you visualize? I've been a lucid dreamer since I was a kid and strangely enough, even in my dreams, it would be hard to do certain actions or imagine things. I want to get better at this since I want to set clear intentions.

I've just used focused desire & maybe telepathy with my guide; & dreams that came on their own in which we'd go places together or some event would be witnessed that had meaning later. So I'm probably not what you'd call a hands-on, managing persona.

Visualization is memory.

One visualization training exercise is to carefully observe something like a pencil. Then close your eyes & reconstruct every detail. After a few days of this tedious practice you upscale to invent a mechanical pencil in every detail in your mind.

My visualizing is rather sloppy to be honest. I start with determination but images end up fuzzy not crisp. Sometimes I get it right on the first try. Those get quick results. There's an energy-wave I've noticed about the good ones. I'm relaxed, not trying too hard, & almost observing rather than controlling.

I don't know if any of my ramblings are helpful to you. Wishing you well in your explorations.

The theory goes that you are imagining something - ask Einstein. Now, when you are imagining a really big important moment you can't focus on all of the details. Everyone, is imagining something big enough. Just to be conscious of that thing, can prevent lapses.

Wow, thanks so much! To clear up, I was practicing quantum jumping for observing alternate realities. I'm sure it's possible, I just have to see what works for me.

Wouldn't alternate realities involve alternate time lines? It's pretty mind boggling. Project Camelot'interviewed Dr. Dan Burisch who is a retired Area 51 biologist with 4 interviews that cover phenomenal topics with ETs, including alternate time lines. Bill Thompson was a space engineer for MacDonald-Douglas involved in the secret space program. There are interviews with him that reference alternate time lines. Remote Viewing authors I've read are Ingo Swann, Lynn Buchannan & Joe MacMonegal. They hint at Rv'g alternate realities & being There. The Montauk Project is a pretty gruesome exploration of alternate dimensional travel. It was brutal to the participants. Stewart Swerdlow survived & has written "The Healers Handbook: a Journey into Hyperspace." He also has YT videos. I think he teaches hyperspace travel techniques. That exhausts my resources - some that date back before 2000 CE .

What resources are you familiar with for quantum jumping? I need updated material! How do you think it would differ from bi-location?

So sorry that I'm reading this late!

I initially heard about this from a YouTuber named Earl Anderson. He has great videos on magic and working with deities and other metaphysical stuff. He made A video on his first experience with quantum jumping. He reported seeing an alternate timeline where he started a business and was later killed because he did dirty practices! He saw himself die in this alternate reality. He linked to a video by Burt Goldman, a man who claims to have mastered the technique. He has seminars where he leads visualizations on quantum jumping.

There are many other people on youtube who talk about it, but it's more from the law of attraction perspective. I was specifically interested in getting a glimpse at an alternate reality if I had made a different decision. There is past and future quantum jumping, with the latter dealing with attracting what you want. It seems to be a pretty cool thing to do. I guess it's similar to accessing your akashic records?
