Black soot question

Postby RainChild » Sat Sep 08, 2018 1:39 am

I did the 9 knot spell using 2 black candles and 2 blue candles to help with an on going court battle. My black candles burned fine. However my blue candles did not want to stay lit and when the spell was done 1 of the candle holders had black soot on the sides (just of the left and right). What is that supposed to mean? The black soot was almost all the way down the sides. I cannot find the answer anywhere online so hopefully you guys will know what I am talking about.

Usually it's the glass encased, 7-day "jar" candles that are read via the burn of the flame & wax or smoke marks left on the glass; and with tapers it's the burn of the flame & wax drippings or puddle left on the plate - if any - that are read.

So, if these were glass encased candles, soot on the glass means opposition has been encountered; & a clear demarkation where it stops shows opposition has been burnt away & dealt with.

Hoodoo Delish channel on you.tube is a good teaching example on candle spells & reading them. Check her channel out.

My blacks were tea lights and my blues were tapers and they did not leave any wax at all. I will check out hoodoo delish. Thanks.

If you use a fire-safe plate or bowl, tea lights can be taken from their holders to be burned so a puddle will result, otherwise there's nothing to read because of the holder. You can carve the tops, oil them around the wick, & drop on herbs if desired. Some other examples:

I’m unfamiliar with the 9 knot spell you used, so...

What did the black candles represent, and what did the blue candles represent?

The black was for protection from negativity and the blue was for court.

I took it that the knot working was the main focus of the spell, and the candles were support. Is that accurate?

the knot order I am familiar with goes like this

---3---7---5---9---1---8---4---6---2--- or maybe it's the other way around? lovely brain fog... :evilwitch:

and there is a little ditty chant that goes along, the words vary, I'll see if I have a copy.
“There are things known and things unknown and in between are the Doors.”
― Jim Morrison
“All I have seen teaches me to trust the Creator for all I have not seen.”

The one I used said to light a candle so I did one of each color and then added another one of each color for support.

Whatever floats your boat is fine as long as you focus. :)

I used this one. It is from this website but there are many many different versions of it.
