Hi everyone!
I have two parakeet in my bedroom which is where I do most of my witchcraft. They're respiratory systems are very sensitive, so I don't want to burn any candles/incense around them. Does anyone else here have birds? What do you use to substitute these thing in your spellwork?
Thanks!

I’d like to point out, based on my opinion, that some things can’t be substituted. Everything in which craft has very specific uses and symbolism. If you can’t work with Fire and Air, then find a way of working with Earth and Water.

That makes a lot of sense! I never really thought of it that way. I always tried to use those flameless candles and it just wasn’t working. I definitely think I can use more water and earth symbolism in my work. Thanks so muchI’d like to point out, based on my opinion, that some things can’t be substituted. No problem. Here’s my thoughts on things you could look into:
Earth: enchanting gemstones, herbal potions, talismans, sacred geometry (like pyramids)
Water: Water-scrying, fluid condensers, purification baths, ‘holy water’
