I couldn't think of a good title for this.
I've been hearing a lot about honey jars lately and I had one tiny question.
I have used honey in a few spells already but here's the thing. I didn't have any honey and I can't drive and so my grandma gave me some honey from her house but she only put a few spoonfulls into an empty medicine/pill container as she was under the impression I wouldn't need very much.
So, it's sort of a jar? Container?
Would that work to put my petition and some herbs into and then follow the rest of the process I've seen or do I need to obtain an actual jar of honey?
I'm not sure when, or if, I would actually do it so there's always time to have her run me to a grocery store at some point but say if I wanted to do it tonight/tomorrow would I be able to?

Re: Honey "Jar" Spell...Maybe...
It should work ok. The size of the container doesn't matter. The "sweetness" is the connection to sweeten up a situation. Honey has additional natural preservative qualities.

It's the ingredients that count not the amount or size.

Thank you much!
I figured it wouldn't and that the universe would be responsive to my situation (I really need to get over my driving fear so I can go shopping when I need something) but I thought I'd just double check anyways.

Re: Honey "Jar" Spell...Maybe...
When it comes to "honey" jars traditionally you wouldn't actually use honey. This concept comes from traditional hoodoo practices and honey was/is far too expensive to waste for magic. Traditionally maple or pancake syrup would be used instead. It's still sticky and sweet. It's also less viscous which, depending on the spell work, can be better because it allows the contents (energy) of the jar to move and flow. You also don't need a lot of honey/syrup at all. Just enough to exist in the jar.

Thanks, I ended up using blueberry maple syrup because I couldn't get the container of honey I have open and it was like 11pm and nobody else was awake. When it comes to "honey" jars traditionally you wouldn't actually use honey. Either way I'm very happy with how it turned out!
