Kabballah

Although I am rather new to Wicca as a whole my Hebrew Scriptures teacher (ironically) has been helping me explore spirituality. In the same way that I was drawn to Wiccan symbolism, I am now drawn to the symbols of Kabbalah as I love the way Hebrew looks as opposed to Celtic runes, but I have no clue where to start, I want to see if it's something I can incorporate into my own beliefs. He's trying to find resources fit for a beginner such as myself as opposed to something such as the Greater and Lesser Keys of Solomon. Any sort of advice or resources is deeply appreciated.

I'm a big fan of Aryeh Kaplan's works, but they are a heavy read.

I'd recommend his commentary on the Sefer Yetzirah as a good, hard beginner book, but it might take a few read-throughs to understand haha.

Also know that kabbalah is separated into 2 different categories, the theoretical and the practical. Theoretical kabbalah is Sefer Yetzirah, Torah, Zohar and the like. Practical is the more mystical and magic side of things.

There are also a ton of "kabbalah symbolism" books on amazon which outline the basic tree of life, the letters, and etc. They basically all contain a regurgitation of the same concepts.
