Visualisation

Postby Unknown » Fri Jun 24, 2016 8:34 am

Hello,

When you are visualising or opening chakras, do you close your eyes and imagine yourself in a third person's point of view? Or does it not matter?

I don't suppose it matters. Having said that, I just naturally fell into first person, viewing from the inside, positioned at one chakra at a time.

It will be interesting to get Other's comments.

I close my eyes with any type of meditation, I not only see as a first person, but my other senses kick in to, hearing, smell.taste and touch.

When visualizing during meditation, I often slip from first to third and back again, quite naturally. In third person I usually watch from just above and behind my own head, but I do find that for me I possibly lose focus easier here . Sometimes I find I notice and experience a lot more in first person. It intensifies the experience.
On the subject of chakras I too naturally fell into first person, but I agree with SpiritTalker in that if it works for you, it doesn't matter which viewpoint it is.
