Cast a Circle with this Easy Incantation

I wrote this incantation several weeks ago. Actually, I'm not really sure how long I've been using this, but I use it on a daily basis and it works well for me. Using it makes me feel well grounded and protected. I don't leave my house without reciting this incantation, slowly and with imagination and intention. It is meant to cast a circle which follows you along your travels. Wherever you go, your circle is with you.


Above, below, within, without,
I cast a circle thrice about
To protect me along this route.
So be it, these words of which I shout.


When you are reciting this, imagine yourself inside of three white spheres, one within another and you being within the smallest, centric sphere. Don't say it quickly either. Say it slowly. Say it while you are still conscious of your breathing pattern. It's important not to change the number of syllables because I wrote it specifically to add up to 33 syllables (8/8/8/9), which is a number that possesses unique magickal properties. Google "33 numerology" to learn more about the number 33. Just don't pay attention to one information source. Read as much as you can find. Of course, you can cast a circle without reciting any words. I just find this incantation useful, as a novice, to awaken or activate my spiritual consciousness.
