Did I accidentally perform "bad" magick?

Okay, of course like most witches, I keep a magical diary, I call it a grimoire, a lot of you would call it a BoS or book of shadows, but as I'm not wiccan, just an eclectic witch, I don't prefer to use that term.

MY grimoire isn't just for magick, I also put my thoughts in it, like a regular diary. Well, I guess i messed up when I wrote on one page my desire, my desire was I wanted my sister and her husband out of my life (she isn't the nicest person, and its selfish). I wrote it down in the grimoire and I wrote the words, "I wish my sister and her husband would get out of my life". I really wanted it, and I felt like energy was sent out when I wrote it, but just put it aside I guess. Maybe less than 1 and a half months later, my sister texts my mom saying she's not having ANYTHING to do with any of us anymore. She basically, well, did what I wrote in my diary. And this isn't coincidence, she acted so normal and this happened OUT OF NO WHERE. It shocked and scared me because now I feel very guilty and I would like to reverse it.

Can you reverse this?

But, if it helps put your mind at ease, it's really very unlikely that writing down your wish for your sister and her husband to get out of your life was the direct cause of them doing just that. Yes, words have a lot of power, and writing them down with a strong intent can make some wishes manifest, in small ways. So, while writing that wish down may have influenced the situation, I doubt it was the reason why your sister made that decision. Based on what I've read, it sounds like this had been brewing for a while, and you may have just given a small nudge, kind of like a drop of water in a bucket that was already being filled up.

That being said, I'd like to ask if your motivation for reversing the situation is because you really want your sister back in your family's lives or is it solely because you feel guilty. If it's only guilt, I don't think you'll be able to accomplish very much. Guilt can be a very strong motivator, but it isn't what I would consider a good enough reason to bring your sister back when it sounds like you actually kind of got what you wanted, just not in the way that you wanted. Also keep in mind that if your sister is bound and determined to cut all ties with you and your family, then casting any kind of spell may not have any significant effect.

Still, if you want to give it a try, I'd suggest simply writing down a couple of sentences while focusing your intent on the opposite of what you'd originally wrote. It doesn't have to be complicated, just embody a strong desire to bring your sister back to your family. Focus your energy on that while you write, and from time to time, focus on healing as well, for all of you. Another approach (and one that you could actually try in tandem with the focused writing), much more simple, and at the same time, probably more difficult, is to just try and talk to your sister. Ask her where she's coming from, and why she feels the way she does. Open up to her too, and let her know how you feel and why. Opening a door to communicating with her may go a much longer way than you'd initially think. Reach out, and let her know that you're willing to talk with her.
