A coven or mentor

I have been studing for some time now on my own and have not been able to achieve much. I am looking for a coven or a mentor someone who can explain things to me a bit clearer. Someone who can help me hone my magic.

I feel you completely.I do well on my own but sometimes it would be nice to have a coven to be part of.

Its not that I do not like practicing on my own but its like the blind leading the blind i feel i could learn so much more from someone with more experience

Mostly working with candle and gems usually some herbs i find that to be best. But as far as what kind of maigc I dont know quite yet i havent found anything that i feel i fit with.

I feel like I have found something that works for me but I also feel there is so much out there that I am not sure.

I am looking for something that has mostly to do with mother earth (hence the my name) but haven't really found much that would really work for me. Then again i am just a beginner. what is it that you practice

A mix of Southern Voodoo with a touch of Santería

What is santeria?

It's similar to Voodoo.

The main difference is the different herbs and things used in a ritual .

Oh ok i guess you are right with how many types are out there i just hope i can find someone who can show me just the basics for now. I have been trying but i feel like i have been getting it wrong. Like my spells just dont stick at least not for long.

Do you have any Metaphysical shops near you? The people working there can often point you in the direction of local events and gathering where you might be able to find someone willing to share their knowledge.
