Help with candle spell for good luck?

I applied to transfer into another college and I'm really hoping to get accepted. I have mixed feelings, honestly. On one hand I think it could be very possible, on the other hand I feel it's impossible due to my grades. There's mixed things going into it, but I don't know.

I'd really like to work a spell to get some good luck with this. I did tarot readings and they all seemed to say good things, but whether or not they were direct in truth or not, I have no idea.

So I want to do something to help me either feel better or have some extra luck achieving my goals. I don't ever do anything for myself, honestly, so I'd love some input.

Here's a spell for you!

THE LUCKY BLACK CAT CANDLE SPELL

You will need:
-one white candle
-a metal key
-fur from a black cat
-essential oil of your choice for good luck (See Oil Correspondence)

Best performed: On a Thursday. Preferably when the moon is in Sagittarius and before full moon (not required). Will not work when the moon is waning.

Get your orange candle and using the metal keys, carve the word "education", "opportunity", "luck" or a simple affirmative phrase in the side of it. Metal keys attract positivity according to lores. Old metal keys are supposed to be the best, so if you can find an old key it wouldn't hurt to use it.

Hold the candle firmly charging it with good luck. When you think the candle is already fully charged with good fortune, sprinkle some black fur into the oil of your choice. Hold the candle horizontally in front of you, anoint it with oil, drawing the oil from the centre towards you then turning it around and continuing in the same way.

While dressing the candle, focus on making your wishes come true; it should focus on the results you want; it must be time specific. Hold the candle in the air, rolling it backwards and forwards between the palms of your hands. As you do so repeat:

Candle's power and lucky black cat,
Please change my fortune, so that
I achieve my inner most desire
Powered by this magickal fire

Light the anointed candle in your altar and let it burn for ten minutes. While the candle is lit, relax and visualize your desires and goal.

Try it and watch the results.
