How do they get invited into or homes or into our lives? It has been a long time since anything paranormal has happened to me. Ever since I have lived with my girlfriend there has never been any unusual events that have happend until last night. I was trying to rock my boy to sleep and he is teething and been fussy. Admittedly I did get frustrated with him and no sooner than my girlfriends closet door opened and a clothes basket in my girlfriends closet on a shelf fell over. And a sense of fear came over me and the room got cold. I didn't waiver or pay no mind but still scared the crap out of me and I feared for my son. I gave him a bottle and he was soothed but I was afraid to leave him in the room with whatever that spirit was.... I can't determine if the spirit was mad at me for getting frustrated...even though i had spent the majority of the last part of my day with a grumpy baby. Or if it was a bad or harmful spirit.... I did get over my frustration quickly and realize he's just a baby he can't help his teething and what not. I did put him in his crib and later that night when my girlfriend and I went to bed i walked in our room and still felt this really negative energy and cold in the room. How does one invite these things in our lives? Can it be unintentional? I don't mess with calling spirits yet because I don't know what im doing and don't want to invite bad things into our home. Am I leaving myself open to inviting bad things in my home when I call upon the elements?

Negative,malicious,and mischievous spirits question
Re: Negative,malicious,and mischievous spirits question
There are a lot of different things that can stir up paranormal activity. Such as house renovations, acquiring 'cosmic slime' by not cleansing yourself from time to time, being super stressed/depressed/angry/etc, bringing home previously owned items that have entities attached to them... the list goes on and on.How do they get invited into or homes or into our lives? First and foremost you need to rule out the mundane. Fall is here so the weather is going to get colder. Are you absolutely sure that the basket wasn't sitting level on the shelf and slowly slid opening the door before it fell? Could it be something 'normal' and 'explainable'? If not then it's time to look at the paranormal.
Often times trickster spirits will play pranks like dropping something, opening or closing doors, hiding stuff... just to get your attention. Ghosts of children will do this so will the fae and animal spirits (like crow or coyote). So next time it happens don't be afraid to talk to it. If you listen close enough you may get a response (probably not audibly but a thought may slip into your mind or you may begin having an inner dialogue with them)... you may also get an impulse of something they would like you to do.
If it's something malevolent... then it's time to roll up your sleeves to work on cleansing and shielding the house and everyone in it.
If you need help with anything let me know.
Good luck!

Re: Negative,malicious,and mischievous spirits question
I know some people on this forum will do Ouija Boards, and I obviously don't recommend. I'm not saying you have done this, but I would like to give some information on the topic. My mum will not let me do Ouija Boards because I wanted to do one with my friend before (there would've been a whole group of us, and she lives in a house built in the 1800s I think.) but now I look back on it it would've been a bad idea. Of course, when my mum was a teenager she was with some people and they wanted to do an Ouija Board, but I guess she wanted to freak some people out so she started spelling out the name of a dead relative lol, and then they stopped before they finished it, because they were too afraid, I think that is quite funny. But in all seriousness, if you have done an Ouija Board, I don't know what to say, apart from: don't do it again. I know some people experience nothing, but I know some people do experience things. Also, I know some people don't believe in ghosts and things like this, but put it this way: some people have seen ghosts, and are obviously not lying, they may have a gift or it could just be a 'once in a lifetime' thing. So when people say that they don't believe in ghosts because they haven't seen one, go tell them to ask someone that has seen one, or the millions of people that have. Also, ask if they're religious, because they may have seen statues of their deity, but as for the real thing: no. Then why believe it? Sorry this may have been boring to you if you haven't done an Ouija Board, but here is a website: http://paranormal.about.com/cs/ouijaboards/f/

Thank you for the info. It was helpful. The only divination tool i use are the terot and loosely at that because it is a terot app on my phone. Ojui boards are not my forte and don't want to delve into that anytime soon

I don't think tarot matters, I don't think it really has a lot to do with spirits. Of course, if you can't afford tarot cards then that's fine. Also, unless you are trained I don't recommend doing Ouija Boards at all, unless you're with a professional. Blessed be.

The worst thing you should do is show fear or weakness to a malevolent entity. You should be strong, powerful & confident in the power of your higher deity to protect you while you command it to leave. It may result in a struggle of wills until one of you wins... but if you don't back down the entity will leave. The key is to show no fear & be commanding... feel your personal power down to your bones!Do i need to be afraid of the menevolent if i ever come across one?
