Please help me with an employment spell!!

Postby Vicki* » Fri Aug 05, 2005 8:30 am

Do any of you clever people have any advice for me?!

My hubby and I are British - my hubby has been working in America on a temporary contract lasting 3 years, and its his employers that have sponsored our visas/work permits and made that possible. A British company and an American one have been working together, so for want of a better word, us being here has come around because the British company have 'loaned' his skills out to the American company.

Because of the nature of his job and because of his contract, if he terminates his employment with the British company, he isnt allowed to go straight into a job with the American office he's currently working in - he would have to wait 6 months before applying.

Now comes my problem...

We REALLY love America and have settled here soooo well and want to stay, but the only way we can live here full time (legally!) is for him to be employed over here and for the employers to sponsor a visa. Because of the nature of his work, if a job in his field comes up, he has a good chance of getting it, but jobs are few and far between.

He has spoken to a lady in California who has said she'd love to work with him, but at the moment doesnt have any jobs available, and we have also told the British company we want to stay here, although they are pretty sure they want him back in one of the UK offices come April next year.

So... is there a spell of some sorts that I could use to maybe open up some opportunities?! Specifically, we either need for the British office to extend hubbys contract and sponsor a couple more visas for a few years, or for the company in California to suddenly have an opening for him to apply for!!

What do you think?!

That's a tough situation. I dunno if a spell geared with this kind of specificity will work. However, you could try simpler spells, like a success spell or a prosperity spell and trust that universe knows the right place(s) for you and hubby to live.

Sorry, I wish I could offer more. . . :(

Good Luck Vicki,

Thanks for your post :D

Its strange but even now instinct is telling me we're going to be staying here so maybe it is time to just trust and go with the flow.
