A rite a day for a Spiritual way

I know how consuming a ritual can be, I mean, even moderate spells can take days to prepare but if you ever feel like you're lacking in your spiritual contributions and haven't done as many spells as you'd like, read on for a tip.



In Tirriokel, we okels practice A Rite A Day and it does wonders for our spiritual growth. All you need to do is find a poem that invokes a ritual and read it aloud or in your head. You don't need to meditate before hand or prepare your altar (though if your altar is already there then feel free to stand before it and if you can get a quick meditation in, then that's fine as well but honestly, a standing rite is all this needs).

Just practice your breathing, invoke whatever spirits, Divinities or Deities you practice under (none of this should take longer than 30 seconds) and read a poem which you have chosen to be your Right A Day. Here's mine.


An Okel's Pledge

"An Okel's Pledge I make today,
To follow whichever path I may,
To keep my intentions sound and true,
And my misgivings and unfortunates down to a few.


The Rede I've remembered from dawn to dusk,
And kept in my heart as I know we all must.
By this I know I've done my best,
And lived a life as good as the rest.

As it were and how it shall be,
The Okel's Pledge is a merry blessed be! "



Feel free to change words if you want, or choose/write your own and, in a Self aware state, read it and be empowered that, if even for a few seconds, you performed a rite as credible as the rest.
