Help required for brain power spell

Hi Guys,

I'm studying nursing at university and I predict that the next term is going to be incredibly difficult for me. I failed an exam from last term so I need to study for the re-sit whilst also working on the next two modules and the practise placement, finding job for when I qualify soon, place to live etc etc. I'm great at practical learning but I do not consider myself academic at all. I need a spell which helps me to concentrate and understand things. If anyone has any ideas such as which God's to invoke (if necessary), colours to use, runes, tarots, herbs, incense etc I'd be most grateful. I live in England so Gods native to my country would be ideal.

well I dunno if this'll be a lot of help to you but I tend to do tarot and rune readings on my exams a couple of days before - sort of to tell me if I'm on track or not - gives me time to cram up if I get a bad reading

You can invoke the element of air (for wisdom and intelligence) and drink rosemary tea. Rosemary helps with memory.

Rosemary tea. Genius. Thanks Ravencry! I'm going to do this and invoke air using incense, yellow candle maybe, feather perhaps, meditation with airy tarot cards and maybe the rune ken (torch)........ revising would also help I suppose.

That sounds perfect, maybe a little air invocation, asking the element to assist you, and have the tarot cards propped up around you while you study, drinking the tea with a little honey added (honey attracts things to us, so honey over sugar for any magickal tea is ideal), have the yellow candle near the Tarot to shine light on the cards, and you can inscribe the candle with Ken and the symbol of air (the upward pointing triangle with a line through it near the top), and you can, while stirring in the honey, stir it in the rune of Ken.

The invocation I would say is "Oh, Spirits of Wisdom, to you I pray
that throughout my (their) studies, my (or intendeds) mind will not stray
keep it receptive, open and clear for me (thee)
As is my will, so it shall be!"

Just echoing what other people said - invoke the powers of air and whatever tarot cards you associate with intellect (I personally lean towards the King or Queen of Swords). As for which gods/goddesses to invoke, I would suggest Thoth if you're into the Egyptian pantheon - he is the patron God of scribes and wisdom. Or Athena from the Greek pantheon if you're into that. I've found her to be very helpful when I needed wisdom, as she is a Goddess of both wisdom and war.
