This is dealing with herbs, spices, and/or seasoning.
Cinnamon - love and romance. Cinnamon has a very sweet scent and when it's consumed, this seasons becomes a subtle scent of you from your pores.
For love and romance, eat a lot of cinnamon or use it as a fragrance.
Oregano / Rose Mary/ Basil Leaves *(Life Herbs for short)- very, very good for life, growth and health. It is green which represents the grass and plants which is nature of the Earth. This is good in promoting health and healing. Use this in your spells or put this in your food and you will reap many benefits.
Pepper and Caffeine - Pepper and Caffeine is good for energy. You can use this in tonics/potions for an energy boost. This will increase your physical energy and motivation. If you want to relax, sleep, or if you are feeling bad, you should not use.
Salt - This is used for bad reasons. It can be used to repel or to harm. It can be put on a persons picture to repel them. It can be put to use with a specific intention. It can be used to repel evil beings (physical or nonphysical). The nature of salt is to repel or harm so consuming it will result in negative and positive consequences. It will drain the water from the body and increase blood pressure. It will clean your body of toxins and waste.
Onions and Garlic - This is similar to salt and the Life Herbs. These herbs will repel all other beings and will attract growth, healing, and well being. Spiritually, this will repel negative beings and increase spiritual energy. Physically, it will repel parasites, insects, and possibly people.
Sugar - This promotes happiness, joy, ego, selfishness and naïveté/ignorance. This season promotes childlike states and friendliness and kindness.
Over use any of these herbs/seasons will result in physical sickness (stomach ache or nausea). While using these seasons promote certain characteristics, over using will cause an imbalance.
There is some herbs/seasons/fruits promoting empathy/sadness. It's the opposite of sugar.
Some tips I'd like to share about herbs/spices/seasons

Some great insights there, thanks for sharing!
One thing that I’ve always lived by, well at least I’ve lived by it for a very long time lol, is that what herb/spice/color/whatever that is best to use for what purpose is best decided by personal impression.
For example, for me cinnamon is frequently about strength; power, often good for issues where I’ll also want to work with a sun influence, things like that. I’m not saying I’m right, well actually I am lol. But, I’m only saying I’m right for me, the way you use cinnamon is right for you too. And the next person who reads their thread… the way he or she uses cinnamon will be just as correct for them as our ways are for us.
Now what this means is a lot more hard work to be done by magical practitioners but there’s nothing wrong with that.

If yhe cinnamon doesn't work try fennel seed tea. Just lightly pound the fennel seeds in your mortor, just enough to bruise or crack it. You don't want to pulverize it lol. Then brew it much like you would regular tea.
Note that this is a mundane use of fennel not a magical one but you can certainly "enchant" it to make it both mundane and magical.
