Akasha?

Hi another topic I want to discuss with you guys, I was reading one of Scott Cunningham's books and I noticed that into the four elements section there was a fifth one named "Akasha" that had everything and nothing in it, any extra information on that? thanks

i see it more or less as spirit he just put a name to it.

In Neo-Pagan beliefs Akasha is generally used as another word for Spirit when talking about the five Elements. However, Akasha is also used in some of the Eastern Religions. Even there it is similar to the concept of Spirit. You might want to read this article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akasha
