You guys, everything you need is out there in the nature .. stones to make runes, feathes, dirt, leaves..pieces of wood.
And lets not forget the little stores, with watercolors, glue, strings and if you look cosely enough bookstores have tarot ;)

Witchy, yea yea yeaa.
I got it. I havent went to the bookstore yet, and i REALLY need to.
But, other then that. Stones and crystals arent in neighborhood lawns.
But, i LOVE the search(:

True, but you know not only gemstones are magickal, have you tried to hear what a river stone has to say? Or a sea pebble? give it a try..
i am lucky enough to have stores i my city so i can buy some stones if i want. But i have just 5 stones. I dont need more, and i really havent worked enough with any of them.

Well, i do have a river in the park in my neighborhood.
Ill give that a try(:
I could even go pebble/rock hunting tomorrow!

To some extent, not as bad as you'd think. I used a medium sized pill bottle to cut out circles of dough and made them quite thick to help avoid this. One thing they need to be kept very dry as water makes salt dough disintegrate. I've stored salt dough ornaments, painted and sealed with a spray on craft glaze, in a cardboard box in a damp basement and they fell apart. Live and learn.
