Edit: The creators of Zeitgeist have released Zeitgeist Addendum, which I urge you to watch. I believe that we can create the world that they visualize in the movie. I think it can happen in my lifetime. If you want to see how we can save the world, eradicate poverty, and finally have peace and prosperity across the globe, please watch this:
Zeitgeist Addendum
The post below was written about the first Zeitgeist movie, which had three parts to it. It is definitely worth watching too, but if you only watch one, I would rather you watched Zeitgeist Addendum since it offers real alternatives to the greed-driven world that we currently inhabit.

If you are concerned about the world financial crisis, have a look at this movie, Zeitgeist:

Zeitgeist Parts 2 and 3 are especially relevant to what is happening right now in our country and in the world. As much as I don't want to believe the movie is true, it certainly is convincing. I would like for you to watch the movie and tell me why you think it's true or false. I'm open to any intelligent points of view. If this movie is true, it will change your world view. If it's false, I need to know so that I don't make changes in my life based on this information.
Zeitgest Part 2 - World Trade Center and 9-11
Zeitgeist Part 3 - The Federal Reserve - "Don't Mind the Men Behind the Curtain"
Zeitgeist Part 1 - Religion (in case you have extra time and want to see what Zeitgeist says about religion. Please watch the others first though, in case you don't have time for all of them.)
Part 3 is the most important one at this point in time. In order of importance, I'd say watch Part 3, Part 2, then Part 1. Unless you have time to watch them all in one sitting (about two hours). If so, then just watch them in order.
You can also watch the entire thing in one sitting and probably in better quality here on Google Video: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 7743189197
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Brightest Blessings,
Zeitgeist - Possibly the most important movie ever.

Hi ,
Yes I watched Zeitgeist a while ago and found the section of the Fed Reserve / Morgans / Rockerfellers etc.. to be the most interesting. However, we cannot get too taken in by the explicit biases of the narrator. Just watch the religion section and you will hear how his biases inflect the presentation...he wants to sway you into disbelief and dies not even attempt to offer any kind of semi-objective journalistic documentary. But, it is interesting. The stuff said on religion is highly reductive and most of it comes from an late 18th century/early 19th Century french text by Charles Francois Dupuis called "Origine de tous les cultes, ou Religion universelle" (trans. "The Origin of All Religious Worship"). In fact, you can learn much more on this topic from Dupuis than the makers of Zeitgeist who water it down to such an extend that it almost appears ridiculous.
But, yes, Part 3 of Zeitgeist is by far the most interesting. Given their poor research and presentation of the 1st part, one must one wonder about the accuracy of the 2nd and 3rd parts, though. Either way, it is defnitiely worht your time to check it out.
Sat Nam,

I do kind of wish they had released Part 1 as a separate video. It makes it difficult to share the movie with someone like my mother, who is a Christian.
Won't the movie creator be surprised when it turns out to be the Christians who end up saving us all from what the Federal Reserve is supposedly doing? haha. I think the liklihood of the Christian churches creating the biggest uprising is pretty good since they believe that by taking the chip you are taking the mark of the beast and forfeiting your right to everlasting life in heaven. So it's more than a financial problem for them. They feel very strongly about this.
Thanks for commenting, Chris.

Metta,
I have only watched the part on religion and I agree with it 100%. The old ways were/are completely more natural and intrinsically tolerant since polytheists accept the existence of many gods and religious ways as normal. Converting others was never part of the old ways.
I think Abrahamic belief will ultimately be detrimental to the emotional, mental and spiritual health of it's followers. As an ex-Christian, I can say it was for me and every single ex-Christian I've spoken to shares the same experience. Plus, all the Christians I still know are some of the worst people I've ever met and also struggle with depression and self-hate.

I'm going to buy these movies! I'm excited to see what their about. I read some of their webpage, and they seem believable because the movies are so cheap compared to mainstream ones so to me this seems they aren't after profit so much as bringing awareness? I will let you all know my thoughts once I've seen the movies.
Mankind today is realizing that what is produced in supranational financial and monetary empire, does not belong only to money masters but to all people.
The world is changing in many positive ways, different from what the elite have planned.
It is possible that obedience to the imperatives of consumerism and militarism would disappear completely.
Sometimes the question is more important than the answer, and in my opinion, there is no more important question than the monetary one: Who is the owner of money at the act of issue? Without asking questions to participants in the party directly, we cannot later distinguish between debtor and creditor.
I have found an interesting website about the use of alternative currencies, proposal of a new way of trading goods, products and services online: Crom Marketplace.
Everyone, take a look at this, its worth your time...
