Being a follower of Tantra, I see Shiva and Shakti as the most high, the names of the "ultimate source" of all things.

I also have attachments to Welsh deities and to the Vanir of the Norse pantheon (Njord, Nerthus, Freyr, and Freyja) and an interest in Thoth out of Egypt.

My patron goddess is Nyx, goddess of the night.

Other favorites include Eris, goddess of chaos, Hecate, goddess of witchcraft, Eros, god of love, and Brigid, goddess of fire. And Apollo, I suppose, since he's my fiance's patron.

I've never found a patron diety, but I have to say I always admired Artemis.

I associate myself with Nyx, the Goddess of Night, like Nightrose.
My emotions rely on the appearance of the moon, and I feel more at home in the night breeze and life.

:)

I feel that Loki chose me to follow in his steps even before i knew who he was. Looking back on my childhood, it would seem that I have always followed Loki.

I have the same question.
How do you know which patron God/Goddess is for you?

I spent a lot of time trying to find the God/Goddess that fit me best. I knew Loki had chosen me as soon as i discovered him and Wicca. I suggest simply researching the different Gods/Goddesses, and then reflecting on your life. Do you have similar viewpoints with any? Or do you find any of them interesting, but don't know why?

Or you could try praying to each of them in turn, chose a different God or Goddess that interests you every day and pray to them. Eventually you will find the one that simply clicks, it's a feeling that i cannot really explain.

Hope that helps, Blessed Be.

Back when I was a wee little beginner in learning about paganism, Anubis was my favourite, and still is up there. He had been good to me in the past. I think, one of my favourite named Gods is Poseidon. (for fairly obvious reasons. xD) I also am quite fond of Wakan Tanka, as my mother's blood is Native American.

Ereshkigal is mine, or should I say I'm hers. Before I got "claimed" I had a lot of dealings with Morrigan.
