Spirit Guide

How does one meet their spirit guide? I've tried to do an exercise but it didn't work for me.

Unless you have a heart condition or severe personality disorder, or are underage or are pregnant;

I recommend fasting for several days, also sleep deprivation coupled with your favorite mind altering substance

then, whichever method of divination you prefer (tarot/i-ching/Ifa shells...you know, whatever) and reach out and ask the Spirits who's hanging out with you!

Okay so here how I met mine. I was hoping I wouldn't have to share, (sry I'm secretive about my guide) but I spent hours in meditation. Calling and etc. Asking for my guide to appear to me as an creature, animal, in either my dreams or in some significant way. Eventually my Karate teacher said something, words of wisdom, and I knew who and what my guide was. I guess its one of those faith things.

The key is to let your guide know that you are looking for it, and that you are dedicated, which out of respect is why I try not to bring mine up too often.

I did the same thing, but i cannot see my spiritual guide actually, i can feel it but it is quite blunt nonetheless i know that they're here.. does it make sense? - Maybe try shaman of bliss' technique

Otherwise, I, others or even this forum could be charged with delinquency of a minor...and that would never do.

I would never suggest that anyone underage do anything which was illegal and neither would any person or persons who have controlling interest in this forum.

To even suggest such a thing might be catastrophic for this community at large.

Though we, as individuals, might feel differently, the law is the law and in theez days...even a hint of impropriety might become a problem...yes?

Eat your vegetables, don't type to strangers and for godzsake don't practice all that devil worshiping-tree-hugging-pagan stuff....my goodness...what Are you teenz doing here in the first place...someone might think you're unhappy following the status quo...shame on you!

This is true.We also don't discuss illegal entheogens or promote the use of such or other substances.What members discuss in private is their business,but no discussions of prohibited substances or behaviours etc. can be allowed on a forum where minors are present.We do have to observe the law.Thank you.

I will tell you how I met mine several years ago. I decided that I wanted to know who my giude was, and so one night while meditating, I let myself get into an open mindset, and then sent out the thought that I would like to meet my guide. At first nothing happened, but after a few weeks of staying open to the idea, and remaining alert for signs of my guide's indentity, things slowly started to happen. I would begin to feel a bit of a powerful, yet loving presence around when I sat and meditated, or lay quietly in bed. I began to become certain htat this was my spirit giude. I had just not seen her yet. One night I was in my bed about to try and sleep, when I found myself pulled into a very vivid vision. I was trying to grab hold of a handhold, while climbing up a sheer cliff, suddenly a young woman dressed in a while dress reached dopwn to help pull me up. I knew somehow that this was my spirit guilde.

Well, it's the 99th percentile that don't have to work for it.

If you (or others) want to understand the nature of your Spirit guides, you gotta go looking for them.

I've heard that one can have more than one spirit guide. And in fact, right now I have three.

The first one I knew is The panther, he shapeshifts into a boy when I see him (Sometimes he comes as wolf or as the boy),

then there's the wofl, she shapeshifts into a girl,

and the last one I recently 'met', I know it's a girl but I don't really know what animal it is.

I usually 'meet' them When I'm about to sleep, or when I'm feeling alone or frustrated. We can talk, but I don't really see them. It's just like I know they're there. Ofcourse I don't go speaking out loud to myself. Basically I speak in my mind.

Yep that's it ^_^ Maybe, if you look at those times when you feel alone, or frustrated or scared, and you want to meet them they'll start showing themselves more and more. ^_^

Might wanna watch that though, if they're appearing as children....that never ends well.

Might wannna burn some incense and ask for their true identity...I'd say you'll be surprised.

They don't apear as children, they apear as teen agers but older than me ^_^ At least a couple of years older than me. Is that bad aswell??

so about all this talk about mind altering substances..... if this is supposed to be a spiritual experience....how does or whatever you want to call them fit in with the senario. just create illusions. i dont beleive they are neccessary for discovering spirit guides or conducting divination.
