Hair growth spell

Postby moonchild » Tue Dec 11, 2007 2:33 am

Has anyone attempted the spell regarding increased hair growth? if so, how long does it take to reach full effect? how long does it last? how much faster does your hair grow? and what order of operation did you use? Thank you

Honestly, I don't know if this is true or not, but some people say that the speed at which hair grows is based upon the current phase of the moon. Not remembering it word-for-word, I tried to google and this was the only thing I saw that mentioned hair growing faster..

"Myth 1: Having a haircut during the full moon will make your hair grow longer, healthier and faster"

Got it from this website.. http://www.thehairstyler.com/hairstyles_52.asp

<sigh> All spells should come with the following subtext: Your mileage may vary. With any spell, the effect isn't easy to compare.

As for this spell in particular, it's not the sort of magic I put my energy into.

for hair growing, we use here Aloe Vera. They get its fluid ( and it's gel too) and they put it on their scalp. the olds used it they say

Aloe is used externally to treat a number of skin irritations. It has antiseptic and antibiotic properties which make it highly valuable in treating cuts and abrasions. It has also been commonly used to treat first and second degree burns, as well as sunburns and poison oak, poison ivy, and poison sumac infections, and eczema. It can also be used as a hair styling gel and works especially well for curly or fuzzy hair.

I trim my hair with the moon in order to encourage or discourage growth. I think I have a spell somewhere, but I, like jcrowfoot, feel my energy is better spent elsewhere...but again the trimming with the moon, I think works somewhat because I stopped "cutting" my hair and only trimmed it when the moon was waxing this past September. My hair at that time was about 2 inches long all over. My hair is now (when wet because it is curly) touching my shoulders- approx 6- 7 inches. I think that 5 inches growth in 3-4 months is pretty good!...but I have been also trying to eat healthy as well. It may be just that I have good hair genes....hehe

I have read that you should hold your head in your hands and chant:

"Stretch it, Twist it, Make it grow, Like a river, Let it flow, Three times fast this hair shall grow, This is my will, So mote it be".

Taking vitamins and eating peanuts can really speed up the natural process as well.

just one question... shouldn`t it be define some lenght you want to or something? as far as i know magick works on its own way and if you don`t define exactly what you want you may get it but not in a way you expect it to be.

Yes, and magic also works through the path of least resistance, which means that you are unlikely to wake up in the morning with hair like sher (back in the day). It rarely forms contrary to nature.

Though you might want to specify things like you want "tresses" to grow, since that specifically refers to the top of the head.

Though I doubt anyone's going to go wookie from this spell.

I'd also suggest doing this one more than once, as these kind benefit from repetition.

My hair has always been so fast growing, since the time I discovered Wicca. I now have learned to cut my own hair. After 9/11 wanted to avoid barber shops because of all the talk. Used to before that go to hair salons, but got too expensive. It seems like I'm always cutting hair. I just checked hair length two places, to see how much I'd cut off. Both would have cut about 2 1/2 inches. I cut at least that much last time. Can't say for sure exactly when the last time was, but I cut it before filling out this one job application form. Never took in the form, is on my dresser. It has a date on it, 11/27/07. So, has been at least a month and a half since cutting my hair.

I think energy makes hair grow, I've never done anything to stimulate it.

I haven't pursued hair growth spells, but I would assume that you would put your energy into the source instead of your hair. By that I mean, chant over your shampoos and conditioners, instead of blessing your hair. I know it might seem silly, but it makes more sense to me.

Silly? Your suggestion seems very practical, actually.

I have to admit that i don't know any good spells for this problem. But, I know vitamin b helps, both pils and natural (milk, meat, fish, peas, beans is good i think) I had a really bad haircut once, and those litle pils helped me a lot!

I have no problem with it growing...mine grows about
four inches a year. I want it to come back in thick
like it use to, before the hysterectomy.
