Blessings, Energies, Spells, Prayers, Thoughts

Postby SandyJI » Thu Sep 06, 2007 9:54 pm

Hi, This is really my first day at this forum. I am in need of help with a situation that I've been dealing with for a while now.

A Co-worker suggested this "contractor" to do some work at my house. He started work, started taking money, do minimal work, kept taking money. Stopped coming by, stopped answering the phone, made excuses, even asked my why I didn't answer the phone. HA!, I had called him every day. Now he's all ticked off at me for bugging him about getting my money back or getting the work done.

I need to get my money back. At this point I don't want him at my house at all. I'm going to press criminal charges against him with every agency I possibly can. I'm also going to civil court to sue him for my money + interest, legal and aggrivation fees.

I would love your thoughts and energies, as well as any spells, prayers and blessings that I can do each day. I really need him to give me my money back. I would also like to see him stay away from people he can steal from. He's a menace to the person that needs help with home repairs. He would take my money to pay his workers, but then he wouldn't do any work at my house.

Anything would help.

you are already doing the right thing by going to the authorities (sp?)

but a good luck charm can't hurt, and you could also try to write a spell to make the court stuff run smooth.

i agree with revolpathon you are doing the right thing by seeking the authorities first and then magic second. i am hoping all goes well and i agree that a spell of some sort to prevent him from stealing money from others is a good idea. nobody should have to deal with things like this, betrayal even by someone who is just aquaintence still leaves its mark!

sending good energies

I've gotten the investigation started, it's just going really slowly. A least I have some proof that I've started legal proceedings. He has other charges against him for other reasons. I"m hoping that soon he will be unable to do this to anyone else ever again. I do wish I could get my money back. There has to be a responsibile handiman out there that can do work without ripping me off.

I'm sorry this is happening to you, there have been reports of this kind of thing happening a lot. I don't really know any spells but you could make one of your own, those always seem to work out nicely for me.

sending you some energy.

Blessed Be,
Wolf Heart

P.s. If you PM me with details on what you need I might possibly be able to help you out. My uncle, who lives in Tennessee, is a contractor and does work all over the country. So if your kind of work falls under his area I might be able to give you some info to call him.

I'm sending the bad guy a letter stating I need my money back. Then I go to the courthouse and get a civil appointment with the judge. He knows how the system works, so I am sure he will make it misurable for me. He's a carreer criminal and I'm just another in a long line of victims.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. I really need them.

Also talk to the BBB and the police department. find out if they know his name. Also, you can contact a newspaper or even your local tv station and relate your experiences. See if you can get a part of a segment about scam artists of this type.

The BBB is doing an investigation, but he is refusing all mail. That way he doesn't have to claim responsibility. What I need to do, but can't afford, is to have a detective follow him and find out where he lives and hand him his mail as being served. I may have to just put the money aside and do it.
One lucky thing, he has a court appointment ... I'm going to it. I hope to get a moment with the judge and tell him what happened and see if I can get something started there.

There are people (called process servers) who go out to find people who've been charged in court. They go out and hand the papers to a person personally , rather than doing it through the mail... which is a chancy thing at best, especially when it comes to the receipt of a summons. It's standard procedure to use a process server. Frequently, Bailiffs do it, or they know someone who can.

Have you thought of certified mail? It only costs about a dollar or so, I think. The moment they sign that little green post card that is attached to the side of the letter, you have your proof they got the letter and the date they got the letter. Or is he a tricky one on that, too? Refuses certified mail?
It's like walking down an empty street, listening to your own footsteps. But all you have to do is knock on any door and say, "If you'll let me in, I'll live the way you want me to live. And I'll think the way you want me to think." And all the blinds will go up, and all the doors will open, and you'll never feel lonely. Ever again.

He has a court date in the morning for something else, so I'm going to the courthouse to hand him the mail I've been trying to get to him. If I need to, I'm sure there will be process servers there that I can hire in a pinch.

I've sent him certified mail and he won't accept it. Even the BBB said their mail was returned. My next step is a detective, who will park in front of his house and take pictures and follow him around.

I'm also in the first stages of hiring a lawyer for the small claims court.

I do need a 'it will be ok' spell. Or just throughts and prayers.

Good luck on Monday!

Make sure there is someone there with you (if at all possible), so as to have a witness to the fact that you tried to give him the papers, and on a more cynical note, to make sure nothing happens.

I will be sending positive energy your way. It's so lousy that he would do this. :/
