Greetings to all! Nice to meet everyone. I am very happy to have found this site and hope to make many friends.
I am not comfortable worshipping only a male deity when I feel the strong presence of a female deity. In my searching I have found Wicca may be more for me, hence I am hoping to learn more about Wicca and natural ways to spirituality. I sometimes feel like I am too old to start on a new path, but I don't know if I can keep on my old path either. Life is a learning journey and I hope to learn much from my stay here. Thank you for having me and would love any advice!

There is a small book by Lucy Summers "The Book of Wicca" well bound with color pictures that is perfect to jump start you in the practice of Wicca. It is short, concise and contains everything you need from principles, procurement of magickal tools, Circle Casting, the Sabbats and Esbats, rituals and spell casting. ISBN 1-84573-183-2

Thanks for the warm welcome and I appreciate the book recommendations too! I do love to read! I live in the Midwest and am a mother of 3 sons (grown) and grandmother of 4 adorable kids. I have been in a monotheistic religion my whole life, but I can no longer ignore the presence of the feminine Deity in my life. I have always been a loner and maybe that is normal for our kind. I am hoping my stay here will change that. I have many questions to ask, but I will start new threads for that. Thanks so much for having me here, you don't know how much it means to me.

Welcome Blu-Luna, Merry Meet... I too am a midwesterner-I live in NW Iowa. I can also relate to being a "loner", I'm a farmer's wife and have 3 grown children. Living out on the farm in the middle of "no-where" kinda keeps me at home and I actually prefer it that way. I'm new to this site but have been practicing Wicca for the last 18/20 years. Previously I was Christian but I always felt uneasy with one belief since many things in my life proved there was more to believe in. I hope you find this site as helpful and supportive as I have!!!
