Hey guys! So not only am I very new to this forum, but I’m also very new to all of this in general. I used to study it years ago but never actually practiced so I gave away my books before I started high school. I’m now 20, and real life has hit me and the curiosity has somehow found its way back as well and I was looking to start studying and hopefully start practicing someday. I believe in thoroughly reading into and learning about something before diving in head first and that is why I’m hoping some of you can help me.
I’ll give you guys a general background on my beliefs and whatnot so maybe that’ll make it easier for you to point me in the right direction.
I am currently agnostic. For those who do not know what that is, it is a belief and acknowledgement of a higher power but not any one in particular. I believe that religion is kind of multi-faceted if that makes sense. But I am also very spiritual. I hold values close and stick by them and I believe that the human spirit is very powerful and it is capable of many things when focused. I believe in and respect Mother Earth and nature to the utmost extent.
I’m really looking to better myself.
So yup that’s me, whoever wants to just throw anything out there for me, feel free! I’m looking for book recommendations, places on the forum that you feel would help me, things that I can do when just starting, basically anything you have that would start me off. Also, just to go along with the guidelines for intros, like I said, I am 20 years old, I am a female from the United States, I love reading, animals, and anything outside. Thank you guys for reading through my novel haha

I completely agree with this statement and in the modern world it is so easy to forget, or rather, getting distracted by so many other things. As a newcomer myself, I hope we will find what we seek from this site .
