Cross Paths Spell?

Postby keela » Thu Apr 28, 2016 11:42 am

I'll be making a road trip to see my favourite band & I would like to meet the lead singer. Should I do a Cross Paths spell? Or a Come to Me spell? I've never been to this city or venue so I don't know if there will be a place to get autographs. Not even sure if there will be an after party. Is there a spell I could do to get invited to an after party? I'd rather stay home but my city is not on the tour. Is there a spell to make them add my city to the tour?

Hi there keela,

Unfortunately, magic doesn't tend to work like that. If it did, there would be a lot more of us married happily to our celebrity crushes and best friends with Rock gods. Of course, there's nothing stopping you from trying one of those spells, but I haven't heard of any success stories about them.

If you have your heart set on meeting this person, my suggestion would be to perform a spell to bring you some good luck during your trip. Luck might or might not increase your odds, but in my experience, asking for a little extra positive energy never hurt.

Also, if you haven't had a chance to make a post in the intro section, please do. It's nice to get to know people and get a chance to welcome them to the forum. :)

What I got from reading this is that she wanted to meet, not to marry.

My point was that influencing the chances of meeting a particular person were unlikely (based on my own experiences and those of others I've seen posting their results on the board), although we all wish that we could accomplish that influence. I didn't mean to imply anything else in my post.

Thanks for the advice. It was for a spell to meet him not marry him. But hey who knows? If you meet someone & you hit it off & become good friends who know what will happen? I'll check for good luck spells unless you can recommend one that has worked for you.

I understand. I was trying for slightly humorous and it fell flat.

It's been a long time since I did a luck spell, but to get a little bit more luck for a trip, why not make a good luck charm to take with you? I personally am quite taken with making magical jars right now, and having a small one that you can place in your vehicle or bag could be helpful. There is a list of lucky herbs that you could place in it found here. You could cut out some four-leaf clovers from paper to place in it, maybe some pennies, things like that to boost the luck.

Also wishing you the best of luck. :)

I'll try to boost my luck with a good luck charm. The lucky herb list is too long.

I very much disagree. One of the main principles of magic is limitation. If you limit the variables enough, you ha e an equation as easy as 1 + 1 = 1... however, reality is a collective effort, so it may not be that easy :p

Take two magnets, one for you and one for him. Place them in or on altar. Feed them magnetic sand each day while moving the magnets (you and him) closer and closer until they're touching. After this, hope for the best.

Once everything has played out -- and this is the important part -- bury the magnets in separate locations, or throw them into separate rivers, or abandon them at separate crossroads.

We all have our own paths, and we all must go our own way at the end, at death. :)

Thanks for the spell. If I can't find magnetic sand at a reasonable price, can I just use the two magnets? Or can I use something something else instead of the magnetic sand? "Once everything has played out" does that mean after I meet him? Sorry for the stupid questions, I'm new to all of this.

Did you read the link? You do not have to use every herb.

As for the magnets...a loadstone will work the same way.

The purpose of the magnetic sand is to 'feed' the magnets. If you're not supplying the magnets with food, the spell doesn't work. Think of it as making an offering to the Gods of Magnets. So if you can't find magnetic sand, you could probably use something else that's magnetic. Magnetic sand is usually just iron dust, so you could even make your own by filing down steel or iron. Or use steel wool or other magnetic things.

Either after you meet him, or after the opportunity to meet him has past.

One of the really cool things about the Sand Dunes is the magnetic sand. Walking in it when Medano Creek is running high is very recharging.

No sometimes I don't read the entire link.

I love the Great Sand Dunes! I was there a few years ago, but never made it over to the Creek..

The coolest part for me was "crossing paths" with the ultra-rare Great Sand Dunes Tiger Beetle:
