My friend is "connected" with crows. They practically flock to him and the expression in their caws changes to match his mood. If he sits down at the base of a tree, the crows land on the tree. Symbolism is based of context to me. The attributes of the situation determine the meaning of the omen. S.J. Tucker wrote a song in which she honored crows from the point of view of the trickster, mentioning that even though they aren't as beautiful sounding as other birds, crow still sings. Omens we see in everyday are much like tarot. You interpret it based off off what you feel constitutes the situation. If you do a one card reading asking, "What will happen to me after I get out of the hospital" You would might be happy, this would be showing that you will gain skill and power. But, had you asked "What about Bob, makes my wife have an affair with him, what has he got that i don't?" and pulled the magician, you would be rather disheartened. Each and every single thing we see is a puzzle piece. Not always ours, but always someones. The wind blows the trees and its spooks the pigeon who flies and shits on the man's car. The man curses at the pigeon and shoos at it. A pretty girl giggles and offers a gentle hand to pigeon. A romance is ignited. All things in the story were puzzles pieces. Yet only two are meant for each other. Now, to the couple, a pigeon represents love. Because thats the context of their lives.
O Goddes, all praise to you. Ta em hotep, anekh hrak. Lady Isis, I adore you. Nebet aset, tu a atu.
