Not to cast dispersions on your story, but I think you should look to medical explanations for this before spiritual ones. Has this happened before? Do you have a medical history which might explain this?

I'm only asking because medical / psychological factors can account for alot of things we experience.

If your sure its possesion why not research. Look for details in the library of the area you were at that time. Im not saying I dont believe you or am i saying your telling the truth cus i dnt know you and werent there. Its just if you find something that may have happened there some time ago, it may have been linked with that?!Just a suggestion.

I believe we are all here because we all are open minded to have these kind of discussions. So I have no doubt in my mind that something supernatural happend that night. Research is not a bad idea at all. This could be another case of something that happen to this spirit of a young man. He may have gotten killed on that same road and was reliving it through you. Maybe he was there to protect you because you were tired behind the wheel. I think anything's possible.
I hope you can find some information and maybe share it with us.

It actually sounds more like a IMPRINT than a possesion. Usually in most cases of possesion, the subject looses consiouseness,and when they come back into consiousness they dont remember a thing. Imprints on the other hand, are like pockets of energy left over from a spacific event that have an effect on us. Like Invoke and Alhandra said, perhaps a tragic event happend there and you picked up on it. Just my thouhts lol.

I haven't been posessed personally but I know people who have. To not name names here, my one friend from school had another friend who she was really close with. At lunch the one day, she introduced me to the band, Typo Negative, and she brought up her friend who usually calls her or shows up whenever she plays that band. During math that day she started getting real cold like shivering and she looked like she was having a seizure. Her eyes rolled back and she started writing something to my other friend who she's also close with. He asked my 'friend' who she was and the spirit posessing her wrote his name and a few other messages for her. Her friend who posessed her found her after he killed himself a few days prior. After that, when she was herself again, she was shivering and nearly passed out.

I honestly have to wonder about that story. You say this person was in class when this happened, but the teacher just kept on teaching and did nothign despite the fact that there was shivering, shaking, eye-rolling student in the midst? and she was able to write coherently through all this?

Teacher didn't notice. We were in the front and he was in the back drawing on the back board almost the entire time. Also, we were the only 3 sitting where anyone actually would see. I've seen her have a seizure before and me and her other friend were the only 2 that noticed and this is WITH the teacher being able to see us most of the time. I think a powerpoint was going on at the time but still. If she can get away with having a seizure in class, she can get away with that.

for mwagner... I for one am no expert in possesion, but my facination with it has led me to research a lot about it. what that sounds like is a bit different than reports I have read. then again, many of the reports are from africa where people are doing drugs... who knows?

possesion can only happen from extreme anger ,happiness,laughter or fear .it can't happen suddenly.

I have to generally disagree with that. Even if the original topic posters are long gone, some threads can still lead to very interesting conversation and debate.

I agree with Moonlit,it sounds like an imprint,perhaps more.....perhaps the spirit prevented another tragedy by guiding you safely past 'the danger spot',who really knows, for sure? Sounds like it to me, though.Sometimes old topics become pertinent again because the person resurrecting them has something to say on it. As an epileptic, I can say from experience that what you describe sounds very much like a seizure (which can have a number of medical causes) and that it would be very wise to go to the doctor. The big problem with Seizure disorders is that many of them ARE unknown in that medical science can't pin point the reason, only try to help with the symptoms.
