Blessing a Scrying Mirror?

Postby LitusAndArcane » Thu May 28, 2015 12:48 am

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone on here would be able to answer my question.
I am in the process of constructing my own scrying mirror using a picture frame.
I want to bless it by the Dyad Moon which is the full moon which occurs on both June 1st and 2nd.
My friend who is a fellow practicioner with a bit more experience than myself believes that if I do that I must flip it and one side will reveal good and the other bad.
I'll do some more research myself, but any advice or knowledge shared on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you and Blessed Be!

I have personally not heard of that, the flipping. I would simply put it where the moon will shine on it all night.

Neither have I.

And I tend to take any advice saying I "must" do something with a grain of salt.

Agreed, never heard about any flipping necessities whatsoever. It may be that it is your friend's personal style, and that is absolutely fine. If it makes sense to you, it isn't going to hurt anything to do it.

I tend to just leave my tools out in the open air at night (providing they won't dissolve if it begins to rain) and let the moon cleanse bless it as it will.
