Re: Mirror Magic
Mirror magick is another way of divination or creating "portals" to other realms. I personally don't use it and am very skeptical of it, but this all depends on your beliefs and who/what you worship. Some use mirror magick to reflect energy or see into other realms to find a source of a problem and fix it. Like firebird said, it's a pretty loaded question, but that's a very very brief description of what it's used for. Other than that (which is basically all I know) I direct you to books and google

Re: Mirror Magic
Mirror magic can refer to scrying with a black mirror and the techniques are many, and there can be dangers associated.
Then there is spells you can do with mirrors
And the are protections you can do with mirrors.
Sorry bout the loaded thing, was feeling a little punchy that day.

Re: Mirror Magic
Hi Azure Lily. This post gives an example of a way to do black mirror magic: http://www.everythingunderthemoon.net/f ... 25112.html There are many other ways to work with mirrors, as well. Hope it helps for starters. What is mirror magic?
This made me think of how in the the Middle East, North Africa and some Asian countries women actually embroider little mirrors all over their clothing. The belief is the mirrors will "deflect" general bad luck (and specifically, the dreaded Evil Eye!) away from the wearer. It's like a continual protective spell. And the are protections you can do with mirrors.

I wondered where it went, too. I had to use my Grimoire of EUTM Favorites to find it, lol (it's startin' to come in handy, finally).

Re: Mirror Magic
I've always been afraid of mirrors, I use them the least I can, as quickly as I can when I need to. I guess part of it is due to the fact that I'm scared to see something that's isn't there, if to you know what I mean. But there's something more to it, I just don't know what. Do any of you know why this might be?
