"Pocket" Fae Altar and New Permanent One

Postby Sakura Blossom » Wed Feb 25, 2015 3:51 am

Inspired by the lovely AdastraJunction's altar (which you should totally go look at!), I finally made my hidden and easy to transport fae altar - conveniently crafted from my iPhone 6 box! My roommate helped me out and she also carved the candle for me with a Fae star. (:

Edit:

I went shopping today and got flowers then replanted them to help create a new fae altar! The last time I had flowers they loved it, so hopefully this is something they will enjoy! I put tons of shiny things in the soil too. (:

Thank you! I love it and also love how everything in it (or at least most of it) fit in each compartment perfectly. It was really wonderful.

Ooh, cute and re-purposed! :D A couple of your crystals look like role playing D8 dice. Maybe that's just my inner nerd talking. :P

Thank you! I thought that the fae would like repurposing. (: and I bought cheap things to kind of be a little more efficient. I'm glad you like it! And yeah, those crystals do look like it! Haha. I always thought so too. XD

This is really well-done! I have been looking at a lot of example of pocket altars lately. So adorable. It gives me some ideas, as when I'm done renovating my permanent altar I wanted to put together a pocket one for when I travel :) In an iPhone box is too clever!

Thank you so much! I love repurposing things and this had perfect little spots to keep things stored! I'm quite pleased with it. (: I'd love to see yours when it's finished!
