I want to wish everyone a blessed Winter Solstice and lots of love, light, abundance, and joy for the upcoming year!
I am so excited for this day! I have a lot going on. I got my house cleaned up and now I'm just waiting for my fiance to wake up so I can cook breakfast and open presents!! For now, I'm working on my Leonie Dawson's 2015 Create Your Shining Year workbook.....lots of exciting plans for 2015! And later tonight, I'm doing my ritual.

My coven and I already did a Yule celebration (using a Yule ritual I wrote! Yay!), so no plans for today except staying in and watching the snow come down! : )

This morning, there was an exchange of gifts with the family and a little cleaning up around the house. Tonight, there will be an observance of the Solstice, as well as personal spellwork that I've been preparing for. I'm a professional night owl to begin with (or rather, a bat), so I'm about to go to bed soon and get back up in the evening. Since I don't work tonight, however, I will be home to welcome the sun back from the long darkness. While I'm home, I'll probably catch up on some reading, start making notes in the calendar for the upcoming year, and knock the cobwebs off my shielding techniques.

Sounds like everyone is having a lovely Yule! 
I know mine has been awesome so far. We exchanged gifts and my fiancé got me a TON of witchy stuff! *little girl squeal* I'm excited to get the spare room cleaned out so I can start using it as my witchy room! For now, everything is setnup in our bedroom. I'll try to post pictures of my new goodies as well as my Yule altar, which I am SUPER proud of this year.

I didn't do anything big yesterday (bed-ridden. Sick and snuffly. Ew.)
For the next twelve days, I just plan to do some small candlelight blessings and observe/appreciate the sun coming back.
Also the faeries are starting to make a bigger presence in my life, so I'm incorporating them into my daily workings.
