Oh hahaha, that's pretty funny xDCan't ever say I've been mistaken as.. anything, really. The closest I ever came was a woman asking me if I liked the movie The Craft.

First of all I have been Wiccan and pretty open about it for the last twenty years or so, and I don't try to hide my pentagram if it happens to fall out of my shirt. She happened to see it one day and asked me when I had converted to Judaism. I chuckled and told her "Mom it's a pentagram, I've only been Wiccan for twenty years." She looked kind of puzzled and said "Oh I must of forgot". I got a good laugh out of that one.

Jewish, nope.. Satanist, yes (usually followed by an eye roll and huge sigh on my part followed by an explanation) and I am not even Wiccan lol. Maybe it is because I am older and have a good sense of what I do and do not believe that I don't frown when being asked are you... It is natural for people to try to fit you into a category and many don't realize just how many religions are out there. I see it as an opportunity for me to open up and share something about myself and for the questioner, a chance to have their horizon expanded, or at least their world view widened.

See, I have never been mistaken as a Satanist but I have been called a Satanist ("oh my god ur evil blah blah blah ur a Satanist" type thing) although I have been asked if Goth was a religion once and if not what religion was I... which was quite funny.Jewish, nope.. I've been thought to be jewish and satanist at various times. I'm not sure if anyone has guessed pagan.
