Converting From Christianity to Wicca: Advice please?

Thank you for all of the information! Besides the tools that many other witches use, there were many times where I have seen that the person that casts the spell should meditate and then visualize whichever you need to do to make the spell stronger. I have tried this a few times, but I have been doubtful in it because it just seems like it's not working at all. Something like this is a little bit hard for me to accomplish, so I'm relieved that visualization isn't actually that necessary. It's the intent and repetition/affirmation that does.
