So, yesterday was particularly slow as there were no patients (yay! Everyone's healthy!) and I was researching the Greek pantheon, particularly the priestesses of Aphrodite who lived in temples and were adored and wanted by all, when I came across this picture of Aphrodite from the movie Hercules.
I was looking at it, thinking "wow, she's so beautiful, I wish I had that sparkle about me so that people would take notice" - kind of self involved, I know, but I had a weak moment! So I came up with this spell, it almost wrote itself, so I went with it and let my pen do the talking instead of my head. I think it's actually pretty good considering how little thought went into it!
"Fire is the catalyst,
My words are strong, so hear this,
I am a priestess of Aphrodite,
Her passion burns from deep within me,
Beauty and lust radiate,
So that I may find a mate,
Apparent is my glittering glow,
So let their love begin to flow."
It's kind of lame, I know, but like I said, I had a weak moment! Deep down I think I just wanted to know what it would feel like to be adored! Who hasn't had that thought at some point?!
