Help needed with spirit board

I tried my homemade coin pointer spirit board and it wouldn't work- Does anyone have any advice on how to use it?

I agree with wiccantruths. They can be dangerous-- you may accidentaly invite some random, possibly not-so-very-nice entity into your life!!

I've seen awful things happen to people who have used Ouija or Spirit boards.... I recomend you stop what you are doing. Things communicating through it can be VERY DARK.

I had a very bad experience with a ouija board about 20 years ago. Freaked me out, will never touch one again.

Hmmm. I feel some of you are being a little bit quick to focus on the negatives of the ouija board. Used properly and with respect it can be a safe and interesting experience.

Light some white candles and visualise a protective white circle around yourself and your workings. Be prepared to sit there for quite a long time and ask sensible questions, don't ask daft stuff like when am I going to die etc? If you encounter something you are not comfortable with, close the board down properly by moving the planchette to the goodbye position.

I've been gone for a while but reading the comments I agree with Autumnal Rose because although I appreciate your concerns I was taking proper precautions and eventually it did work
