Your First Spell..

My first spell was a kissing spell. I was curious enough to want to try it on the boy I liked at the time so I did it and it worked. I didnt kiss him because I was scared and we were alone at his house, so I left. But, it still worked so Im really happy with myself and magick, even though the guy is bleh now. Oh, and I recommend NOT casting too many different spells in a few days. I found that out today, casting spells take alot of energy, depending on the spell. Especially if you havent initiated yourself into wicca yet, like I am. Anyways, good luck to everyone and have fun

My first spell was a truth spell, i wanted to know what someone thought of me. That night i dreamt of Ke$ha's song "Blah blah blah". 2nd one i did was to find a lost item of mine. I visulized the item in my head, then i used a silver lasso to pull it in towards me. I opened my eyes, got on my hands and knees to search and, lol there it was!

My first spell was a banishing spell. I live with my boyfriend and his brother. His brother is/was a huge pill/pot head and a convicted felon. I was so tired of his bullcrap and constant negative energy. He literally was a psychic vampire making everyone around him miserable. Him and I got into a huge fight and I realized I had to get it out of my life. I didn't want to banish him specifically out of my life so I instead banished his negative energy and the drugs. I used the banishing spell provided here on EUTM, lit the candle and wrote his name on four pieces of paper while getting rid of them with the elements. The candle burned for 2 1/2 days straight and then another 2 1/2 days after it burnt out his PO officer showed up at our door and confiscated all of his paraphernalia and gave him 2 weeks to get clean. Since then he hasn't been using and everything has been a lot better. He goes into see his PO again tomorrow but overall I feel like this spell was a success. It got all of the drugs out of my house and with the drugs went the negativity. I also saged the house the same day as the PO's visit for an extra oomf to get the negativity out.

My first spell was to help me pass my exams!

It was weird, because, although I had heard of magic, and spotted the chant online, I wasn't sure about whether it would actually work. So as I sat down to do my first paper of the exam season, I muttered the chant under my breath as the invigilator made sure I wasn't cheating. And sure enough, I passed all my exams and managed to get onto my dream college course! Of course I revised really hard as well, the chant just helped me collect my thoughts and push through with confidence

Mine was a spell + ritual I made to find the job I wanted the most...
I just finished University and wanted to find work as a teacher. I made an amulet and a sachet and carried it with me. The spell worked instantly (or so I thought) because the next day I got a call from someone who offered me a fulltime job! Of course I took it.

After a month or so I already noticed it didn't feel right and I was not happy at all there.
I quit after three months...I was unhappy and felt very insecure, not only about work, but also about magic. Did I do it wrong? (Now I know there is no 'wrong' but back then I just started of course)
After a while I figured I had to let things go and leave all my 'luggage' behind.
The day after I did that I got a call and my dreamjob was offered to me. I still work there 9 years later and still love it.

I looked back at my ritual + spell a couple of years ago and realized that I wasn't clear enough in what I asked. The universe instantly gave me what I asked, but I wasn't specific enough so it didn't feel right.
Also, my intention was too needy, and I was a little doubtful at first. I believe you have to come in with perfect love AND perfect trust, if not; the spell backfires.
Just like it did to me.
It's all about experience though; you have to get to know yourself and how you do rituals/spells...Nothing wrong with trying.
