Is anyone planning to conduct any spells or rituals this Friday night, due to the meteor shower? It will also be a full moon!

Meteor Shower this Friday night
Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
I hadn't heard about that! Maybe some work to spice things up and keep life interesting- I do get bored so easily. What are you going to do?
Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
I was going to do a ritual for the full moon regarding my athame. I will be at the camp so we should be able to see the shower.
Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
I'm working on a spell this week, bringing love, happiness, strengthening 3rd eye, and intuition. I'm also going to charge a particular rock for use later on. Very powerful and charged night.
Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
That sounds interesting... maybe I should make my luck and success satchel charms that night... good night for a first attempt.
Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
Sorry for the (potentially stupid) question, but how exactly does the meteor shower affect casting?
Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
It's super charged energy. Hyper activity in the universe, such as meteor showers, the northern lights, shooting stars are associated with the fire element.
Interacting also, is the earths magnetic pull, gravity and natural laws of physics. Imagine how much energy is being produced from such an natural event. This high powered energy can be directed to magik power, (just like the moon is more powerful when it is full).
Even though it is associated with the fire element predominately, the other elements are also present in hyper force, such as Air, Earth (loose debris, dust, sand, and rocks that are in the meteor shower) and water, from precipitation in the atomosphere. All the elements are present in their heightened state of energy charges.

Re: Meteor Shower this Friday night
I personally dont work magick of any sort during any celestial events like eclipses. The way it was taught to me is tha we shouldnt do workings during them specifically. It was taught to me that there are chances for adverse reactions to your working because the standard "constant" in the magickal equation has then become a "variable" and you can no longer rely on its energies at that time for regular workings because their energy may cause an adverse affect to what you intended because its own energies are now out of the "norm".
Nothing was ever mentioned to me specifically regarding meteor showers so I do not know if this rule still applies in this sense. I havent ever tested this theory so I cannot confirm or deny its factual basis but for me "if it aint broke dont fix it" cuz its not worth the risk to me for something going awry.
I will not be working any magick during the meteor shower.
