My, my, all of these beautiful altars! I wish I could have one of my own, but my parents and friends could never understand if I did, and there's no room in my closet for a small, personal one. I don't like having to think about finding a place to hide an altar for me. Whiether I have to find a secret place or if I have to wait to turn 18 and move out, I want to make a really nice altar ^^ it would make me extreamly happy to have one.

Wow, thats a really beautiful altar, Sublimenightmare!

I really like those copper states of the God and Goddess, are they also candleholders, or is the candleholder seperate, it almost looks like one piece in the photo.

Thank you canobiecrazy. No the statues aren't cand;e holders but i do use very simple holders behind them.

I don't have a pic but i can describe it. It has a cardboard pentacle in the middle, 2 candles at the top corners, a wine cup (i stole from the kitchen) on the right, the tube of a sharp pen (acts as my athame) on the left and a wand at the front. there's also a box of coloured origami stars that represent the magical colours and their purposes. my altar has this white cloth and according to Witch13's idea of having storage boxes, i assembled 2.

I traced the triangles of the pentacle with textas: grey for spirit; dark blue for water; dark brown for earth and light blue for air. you can guess that each triangle points to one of the magical tools except for spirit. Earth is a pebble i collected from school.

my altar's surface really small. i can hardly fit my backpack on there! since i live in Australia, i don't live close to any pagan shops. i'm gonna move to england or usa when i am 20 or 24.

I think it's a great idea to post pics of ur alters! mine is very incomplete right now, but it should be ready for Lammas! At least for the most part.

I made the pentacle, the goddess symbol, the oak earth dish, the min mortar and pestle, and the fire dish. I also made the runes.

Mine! :) I don't have an athame or anything special, but it's mine nonetheless. :)

I don't have room for a permanent altar unfortunately, but I do set up one sometimes for sabbats. Usually I can't, but if I get around to it I'll post pics, it's a very simple setup, mind you, no beautiful statues or colourful pentagrams D:
