Tarot making your own cards

Okay I was told by tarot reader I should make my own tarot and make money with
it.. So I did my research on it.. No way can I do this ..
Asking for funding or go into debt for what if it's like gambling..
Yes' I'm artistic but I can't draw ..
And watched youtube videos on the subject ..
I feel this not for me .. she kept pushing it..
I will tell her no matter what see's I don't have the drive to do this..
And there so many people that do it and barely make it..
And yes there some lucky ones..

I would do what you feel you would like, follow your heart and soul...
You know you don't have to go through the "whole 9 yards"... just try doing something smaller- just for yourself - and see if it's something a publisher would be able to help you with... either way- you can't say you gave up before you even started... be positive... hummm- sounds like you could use a "Spring cleansing" spell for yourself... keep your glass half full... not half empty...

I am arty but don't feel qualified. Oracle cards are easier. They should represent a spiritual journey like train stations, each stop along the way. So you need to have been on a path of real enlightenment I imagine for some time so that existing decks make good sense to you. And 78 cards is tough work. Borders can be copied or stamped though. I don't fancy drawing the minor cards much either.

The BOTA (builders of the adytum) used to have a set of major arcana cards that were just black outline that could be colored in, not sure if they still have them, but that might be an option. They are mostly for study.
I think if you were to be a reader, you would really have to want to do that, good readers make a fairly decent chunk of change. One of our Priestesses made over 400 dollars at Pagan Pride, in just a few hours of work.
